Feather River Resource Conservation District
The Feather River RCD’s has ongoing availability to meet with landowners to discuss fuels reduction and forest stand improvement projects through assistance programs like the Environmental Quality Incentive Program, the Conservation Stewardship Program, and the California Forest Improvement Program. My Sierra Woods
A partnership between local organizations and the American Forest Foundation, dedicated to providing technical and financial assistance to landowners in Plumas, Butte, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Tehama, Trinity and Yuba counties.
CAL FIRE California Forest Improvement Program
A cost-share assistance program for private and public ownerships containing 20 to 5,000 acres of forest land for: management planning, site preparation, tree purchase and planting, timber stand improvement, fish and wildlife habitat improvement, and land conservation practices.
