Introduction to Wildland Firefighting

October 17-18,24-25 2026 | 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

This is a no-cost, 4 day class that includes National Wildfire Coordinating Group courses: 

● S-130 FirefighterTraining(with afield exercise) 

● S-190 Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior 

● L-180 Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service 

 

Location: Quincy, CA (Field Day Location TBD)  

Dates: 4 days over 2 weekends - October 17 , 18 , 24 , 25 2026 

Times: Approx. 8 am to 4:30 pm each day

Experience required: none
