Where to get a burn permit
Burn permits are required from May 1st to the end of fire season. In Plumas County they are available at the following locations:

Burn day status
Year round you are required to see if it is a permissible burn day before you burn

Campfire Permits
You must have a California Campfire Permit to use a stove, lantern, or campfire outside a developed campground or recreation area. The permit is your agreement to follow the campfire restrictions and regulations in effect. Permits are available free-of-charge at offices of the US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) Program
A voluntary program that provides financial and technical assistance to plan and implement conservation practices that improve soil, water, plant, animal, air and related natural resources. My Sierra Woods
A partnership between local organizations and the American Forest Foundation, dedicated to providing technical and financial assistance to landowners in Plumas, Butte, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Tehama, Trinity and Yuba counties.
CAL FIRE California Forest Improvement Program
A cost-share assistance program for private and public ownerships containing 20 to 5,000 acres of forest land for: management planning, site preparation, tree purchase and planting, timber stand improvement, fish and wildlife habitat improvement, and land conservation practices.
Tree Removal Information, Lassen, Modoc, and Plumas area registered professional foresters and licensed timber operators
